Monaltrie Court, Ballater

The sheltered housing scheme at Monaltrie Court Ballater was built in 1989 and consists of 13 flats in a block building. There is lift access to both floors and on the ground floor there is a residents’ lounge and kitchen. In addition there is a guest bedroom where friends or relatives of tenants of tenants can stay for a small charge.

All properties have electric 'Total Control' heating and a door entry system at the main entrance provides security. There is a Scheme Manager call system and door entry system throughout the scheme.

We provide a Housing Support service 5 days each week at this scheme.   The Scheme Manager is normally on duty from 9 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday.   When the Scheme Manager is not on duty, support for tenants is provided by RCC/Community Alarm, whose staff can initiate appropriate action to assist.

Ballater is located in Royal Deeside and has a range of services and facilities. These include a Health Clinic (located close to Monaltrie Court), dentist, Post Office, various shops, hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. Public transport is also available, with links to the east and Aberdeen city and to the west to Braemar.
