Kindrochit Court, BraemarBraemar

The sheltered housing scheme at Kindrochit Court, Braemar was built in 1989 and consists of 11 flats in a single storey block building. There are also a large residents’ lounge and attached kitchen, laundry equipped with washing machines and tumble dryers and a guest bedroom where tenants’ friends and relatives can stay overnight.

All properties have electric 'Total Control' heating and a door entry system at the main entrance door provides security. There is a Scheme Manager call system and fire alarm system throughout the scheme.   There is also a communal satellite TV reception system.

We provide a Housing Support service 5 days each week at this scheme.   The Scheme Manager is normally on duty from 9 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday.   When the Scheme Manager is not on duty, support for tenants is provided by RCC/Community Alarm, whose staff can initiate appropriate action to assist.

Kindrochit Court is located next to the church, in the centre of Braemar.  The village of Braemar is located on Upper Deeside with trunk road links to Aberdeen city to the west and Perth to the south. There are a range of services and facilities available, including medical practice, Post Office, various shops and hotels.
