The sheltered housing scheme at Nethermains Court, Echt was built in 1989 and consists of 12 properties, 8 of which are linked cottages and 4 are flats with the 2 upper floors ones being served by a stair. All properties are accessed from a lit covered walkway around a courtyard area. Communal facilities are provided in the form of a resident's lounge and kitchen. There is also a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers and a guest bedroom where tenants’ relatives or friends can stay.
