The sheltered housing scheme at 6 Raeburn Place, Aberdeen was completed in 1987, following a conversion from original tenement flats. There are a total of 14 flats on the
4 floors within the building, with lift access to all floors. In addition, the residents’ lounge and kitchen
are located on the lower ground floor. There is also a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryers on this floor, along with a guest bedroom and
Scheme Manager's office.
All properties have central heating provided from a central gas boiler, and a door entry system at the main entrance door restricts access to the building to authorised persons only. In addition, there is a
Scheme Manager call system and fire alarm system throughout the building.
We provide a Housing Support service 5 days each week at this
scheme. The Scheme Manager is normally on duty
from 9 am - 1 pm, Monday - Friday. When the
Scheme Manager is not on duty, support for tenants is
provided by RCC/Community Alarm, whose staff can initiate
appropriate action to assist.
Located close to Aberdeen city centre, the scheme at 6 Raeburn Place has access to a range of facilities, including the Denburn Health Centre, which is within easy walking distance. Public transport also offers access to the city centre and beyond.
