Richmondhill Court, Aberdeen

The sheltered housing scheme at Richmondhill Court, Kingsgate, Aberdeen was built in 1976 and is located adjacent to Forestgait Residential Home operated by Voluntary Service Aberdeen (VSA). The scheme consists of 20 flats at ground floor and first floor level and 7 cottages grouped around a central landscaped courtyard area. Heating in individual properties is electric 'Total Control'.

Although there are no communal facilities at the scheme, tenants have the opportunity to participate in certain social activities at Forestgait. All properties have a Scheme Manager call system. This is linked to Forestgait, and through an agreement between Castlehill and VSA, a housing support service to tenants is provided by VSA staff who would respond in an emergency.

Richmondhill Court is located in a residential area in the west of Aberdeen with public transport links to the city centre and beyond.
