Castlehill main aim is to provide good quality housing at an affordable rent, for those in the greatest need.
Castlehill seeks to provide quality management and maintenance services and to ensure that homes are well designed and constructed to a high standard. We work in partnership with voluntary agencies and local authorities to provide appropriate care and support for vulnerable members of the community.
We aim to: provide high-quality affordable housing, and an efficient, responsive and personal housing management and maintenance service; provide appropriate support services to sustain independence and quality of life and contribute towards sustaining rural communities through providing housing, associated employment and using local maintenance contractors.
To communicate clearly and effectively with a diverse range of people, taking into account their views.
Taking account of customer needs, striving to meet them, and providing a consistently high-quality service to all customers including tenants, service users and colleagues.
Demonstrate high standards of fairness and honesty, dealing with customers and colleagues in an open, equal and respectful way at all times.
The ability to adapt to change, remain flexible in changing circumstances and embrace different ways of doing things and opportunities for improvement with a positive and open attitude.
Being openly accountable for our actions, opinions and decisions; taking responsibility and ownership for delivering agreed outcomes and seeing things through to completion.
Our Strategic plan
Our strategic plan is to show our ambitions for the direction of the Association for the next three years.
Castlehill is proud of our achievements to date and we look forward to the future, building on successes and learning from our mistakes. We want to ensure we move with the times without losing the values that have served the company, we are an organisation that is of a scale but not so big as to be remote from the people we house and provide services for.
Our Vision is to be recognised as a leading provider of high-quality affordable homes in the North East of Scotland and as an organisation that cares about people.
The plan highlights a number of objectives we will be trying to achieve and our strategy will show how we hope to do this taking into account external factors including the requirements of regulatory bodies and the Strategic Planning role of Local Authorities help to determine the working environment of the Association.

We’ve created a handbook with the help of tenants, for tenants. It has been designed as a guide to refer to at the start, during and at the end of your tenancy.
We have over 1900 properties across North East Scotland, including general needs, amenity, sheltered, very sheltered, mid-market rent and shared ownership.
