Charity donation will go a long way

Aberdeen Care & Repair is pleased to have been chosen as charity of choice from leading international energy logistics provider Peterson. The Charity will receive a donation of £10,000 of funds which they intend to put towards their current Dementia and Home Safety projects.

Two different charities are selected by Peterson staff each year as part of Petersons wider ‘Dare to Care’ initiative which benefits the communities Peterson operates in. Staff raise funds throughout the year by organising and participating in a variety of fundraising events.

‘A donation of this size will have an incredible impact on the services and assistance Care and Repair can offer to older and disabled people locally.  Castlehill Housing Association has managed Care and Repair for over 20 years and with public sector funding continually under pressure, donations and support from local companies help us to develop and sustain important services.’ said David Lappin Castlehill’s Chief Executive.

Aberdeen Care and Repair is a registered voluntary organisation and charity which provides advice and practical assistance to people aged 60-years and over, people with disabilities and people with long-term health conditions, to allow them to continue to live within their own homes as independently as possible.
