Craigielea Gardens is located in Mannofield, a residential area in the west end of Aberdeen close to local shopping areas and with public transport links to the city centre and beyond.
Craigielea Gardens consists of 50 flats located in the two-storey block building, which is set in attractive landscaped grounds. There are residents’ lounges on the ground floor and first floor, and a hobbies room and laundry. There are also 4 guest bedrooms available for visiting relatives or friends, which can be booked for a small fee via the Castlehill main office.
All properties have central heating provided from a central gas boiler plant and there is a door entry system and fire alarm system throughout the building.
The scheme is linked to a day centre operated by Aberdeen City Council which provides a number of services including a midday meal for tenants, and others. Staff are employed by Aberdeen City Council, under the supervision of the scheme manager, and part of their duties is to provide a 24/7 housing support service for tenants at Craigielea Gardens.
