Tenant finalist in national excellence award

Our tenant Colin Stewart has received recognition for his voluntary work in tenant participation with Castlehill Housing Association and beyond.

Colin Stewart was a finalist for the Frances Nelson MBE award, which was introduced in recognition of TIS’s former Chair and celebrates the commitment and hard work of an individual who has made a real difference in their community or wider area.

TIS stands for Tenant Information Service and the TIS National Excellence Awards recognise and honour landlords, tenants, residents, and community groups who are leading the way and making a difference within the Scottish social housing sector.

Colin is the Secretary of our independent tenants’ group CaRTO (Castlehill Registered Tenants Organsiation) and is Vice-Secretary of NETRALT (North East Tenants, Residents and Landlords Together). He is also a member of the Regional Network and a member of Castlehill’s management committee.

We would like to thank Colin for his dedication, enthusiasm and voluntary contributions he has made to tenant participation throughout the North East and look forward to continuing to work with him in the future.
