Might be time to consider a fix

It has been announced that the October price cap will see Gas and Electricity costs rise by a further 4% from October 1st. Yet another increase following an earlier quarter increase of 13% at the beginning of July, this is due to the soaring global energy cost due to the ongoing issues caused by the Iranian war.

For many of us energy bills will be rising despite the cut on VAT for electricity coming in October, which may help in some way.

According to experts it may be worth while to consider fixing your tariffs as the cheapest energy fix is currently 7 – 10 % lower than the energy price cap. So, if you are on a standard tariff rate it may make sense to find a cheaper tariff and fix your rate. Consider looking at the Cheaper Energy Club – remember the energy cap changes every three months and is based upon a typical dual fuel cost, and your cost will be entirely dependent upon the amount that you use.
