We’ve created a handbook with the help of tenants, for tenants. It has been designed as a guide to refer to at the start, during and at the end of your tenancy.
Remember you can report repairs via the website or the repairs line 01224 628104.
If you smell gas:
Put out all cigarettes
Not use any naked flames, matches or use any electrical light switch or socket
Open doors and windows to get rid of the gas
Turn off the gas supply at the meter
Report the leak to Scottish Gas Networks on Freephone 0800 111 999
(Sheltered / Very Sheltered) Report to your Scheme Manager as soon as possible
Staff will be available for tenant enquiries as usual on 01224 625822 and information and updates will be provided via our website.
In February 2022 we wrote tenants to advise that following a review of the Association rent structure, a new structure would be introduced from April 2022. The introduction of new rent structure brought about changes for current tenants. To implement this and be fair to all tenants it was decided to move tenants onto the new rent structure gradually over a five-year period. However, this move was paused during 2023 due to the cost-of-living crisis.
As a result of the closure of the Fuel Insecurity Fund, we are letting people know that the Home Heating Support Fund will close to new applications on Friday, February 16th.
With the weather drawing in and the temperatures dropping many of you may be concerned about icy paths around your
scheme.
