Our Tenants love My Home

Castlehill’s My Home tenant portal was developed in response to tenants asking for more digital ways to manage their tenancies. Following feedback, the portal has recently been upgraded to make it even easier and included things which make it even more helpful for tenants.
When we asked about signing up, the response was very positive. Many described My Home as simple, intuitive and easy to use.
We’re pleased to share recent feedback from two tenants, Bruce and Lesley, who have been using My Home.
Bruce admitted he was unsure at first and did not consider himself especially tech-savvy. However, he found the set-up straightforward and was able to get started in just a few minutes.
For Bruce, one of the biggest benefits is being able to check information whenever it suits him: “You can check your rent or heating account at your own pace without having to bother Castlehill.” Lesley agreed, adding that My Home is especially helpful for anyone who feels anxious about speaking to people: “It is easy to report issues that are worrying you… day or night, which is useful especially if you are busy through the day or forget.”
Bruce described the portal as “a great way forward”, adding that tenants can do almost everything online and should only need to call reception if something is serious.
Registering for the portal is simple. You’ll need your name, date of birth, postcode, email address and tenancy number.
Once registered, you’ll only need your login details to access My Home. A family member or friend can also register on your behalf to help you manage your tenancy, if needed.
