Advice & Assistance
Free advice is available to all clients either over the telephone or in person. A duty officer is available to provide this immediately over the phone, Monday – Thursday 9am – 5pm and Friday 9am – 4pm. Please note we open at 10.30am on Wednesday due to staff training. If you wish to meet a member of staff an appointment can be made for a home visit or an office visit.
Our duty officers undergo regular training to ensure they are fully informed about all other agencies that may be of help. If Care and Repair are unable to assist, referrals can be made to appropriate partner organisations within the city.
Our support team are experienced in dealing with services users living with Dementia and/or mental health conditions and can provide any additional support and advice needed for this group and/or their unpaid carers.
