About Castlehill Housing Association
Castlehill has a simple group structure with Castlehill Housing Association, a Registered Social Landlord (RSL), as the parent organisation with responsibility for setting the strategic goals and direction for the organisation. CHA owns and manages 1,950 properties across a range of housing types, including general needs, amenity, independent living, and very sheltered housing.
Our subsidiary companies include Castlehill Housing Trust, a charitable organisation that provides specialist accommodation for people with a range of disabilities and support needs and Castlehill Solutions, which offers mid-market rental properties.
We also offer shared ownership opportunities, delivering factoring services for these properties where required.
In addition, we manage Aberdeen Care & Repair, helping older and disabled residents maintain their independence and remain in their own homes for longer.

Our Organisation
We operate as a registered social landlord and hold charitable status. Our main income comes via rents and service charges, which fund the management and maintenance of our homes. New developments are supported by Scottish Government and local authority grants, alongside private loans. Some specialist services are funded in partnership with local authorities.
As a leading provider of high-quality, affordable homes in the Northeast of Scotland, we are recognised for care and commitment to people.
Our aim is to:
- To provide high quality, energy efficient, affordable housing, and a responsive and personal housing management and property service.
- To provide appropriate services to sustain independence and quality of life.
- To contribute towards sustaining our communities through providing housing and associated services.
- To be recognised as an excellent employer and values driven organisation.
