Located close to Aberdeen city centre, in the popular Rosemount area, the scheme at 6 Raeburn Place has access to a range of facilities, including the Denburn Health Centre, which is within easy walking distance. Public transport also offers access to the city centre and beyond.
6 Raeburn Place was completed in 1987, following a conversion from original tenement flats. There are a total of 14 flats on the 4 floors within the building, with lift access to all floors. There are a residents’ lounge and kitchen on the lower ground floor. There is also a laundry on this floor, along with a guest bedroom and staff office. The guest room can be booked by contacting the Castlehill main office.
All properties have central heating provided from a central gas boiler, and a door entry system at the main entrance door restricts access to the building to authorised persons only. In addition, there is a scheme manager call system and fire alarm system throughout the building.
Castlehill provides a housing support service 5 days each week at this scheme. Staff are normally on duty from 9 am – 12 pm, Monday – Friday. When they are not on duty, support for tenants is provided by RCC/Community Alarm.
