Chief Executive- David Lappin
Appointed to his current role as Chief Executive in 2010, David is responsible for leading the Senior Management Team and ensuring good governance of the Association, supporting the Management Committee. David takes the lead role in strategic business planning and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
In addition to his current role, David serves as a Director on the Boards of Castlehill Housing Association’s two subsidiaries (Castlehill Solutions Ltd and Castlehill Housing Trust) and sits on the Board of the Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA).
Director of Finance and Corporate Services – Joanne Ramsay
Joanne was appointed Director of Finance & Corporate Services in 2017 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland and a registered Chartered Accountant. Her main responsibilities include advising on and delivering effective strategic and operational management of the Finance and Corporate Services functions to support the Associations and its subsidiaries; Castlehill Housing Trust and Castlehill Solutions.
Key to this role is ensuring all policies required are in place, reviewed regularly and adhered to and that comprehensive accounting systems, procedures and controls are operating effectively. The role also includes responsibility for all regulatory reporting to the Scottish Housing Regulator, OSCR and Companies House. Joanne is responsible for liaison with all finance providers and monitoring covenants, ensuring the insurance program is appropriate for the business and liaison with the company’s internal and external auditors.
Director of Housing and Property Services – Isla Gray
Isla joined Castlehill in December 2019 as Director of Housing and Property Services. She has worked in housing for over 20 years, including in local authorities and charities as well as housing associations. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Housing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing. Isla is responsible for the delivery of our housing management, housing support and property services as well as overseeing IT.
Isla is responsible for ensuring that all services to tenants are delivered professionally and in line with regulatory requirements from the Scottish Housing Regulator, the Care Inspectorate and the SSSC. Isla reports to the Management Committee and has responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Scottish Social Housing Charter and reporting of this to the Regulator through the submission of the Annual Return on Charter.
