Rent Convergence and CHA Rent Policy

In February 2022 we wrote tenants to advise that following a review of the Association rent structure, a new structure would be introduced from April 2022. The introduction of new rent structure brought about changes for current tenants. To implement this and be fair to all tenants it was decided to move tenants onto the new rent structure gradually over a five-year period. However, this move was paused during 2023 due to the cost-of-living crisis.
