Ballater is located in Royal Deeside and has a range of services and facilities. These include a health clinic (located close to Monaltrie Court), dentist, Post Office, various shops, hotels, guesthouses and restaurants. There are also various leisure options in the town and beyond.
Public transport is also available, with links to Aberdeen and Braemar.
Monaltrie Court was built in 1989 and consists of 13 flats in a block building. There is lift access to both floors and on the ground floor, there is a residents’ lounge and kitchen. There is a guest bedroom where visiting friends or relatives can stay, this can be booked through the Castlehill main office.

Our schemes have Community Alarm systems so tenants can call for help in an emergency. When staff are not at the scheme, Community Alarm provides assistance. All properties have electric ‘Total Control’ heating and a door entry system at the main entrance provides security. There is a call system and door entry system throughout the scheme.
