The Scottish Federation Housing Associations have administered the Scottish Governments Social fuel fund. Through this fund Castlehill has been able to purchase heated throws and air fryers to help tenants save on utility bill costs. Funding from Aberdeenshire Council Wellbeing fund has also supported this initiative. 

As you may be aware recently, we contacted tenants about the availability of the heated throws, and the response was fantastic. Applications were extensive and our staff have been hard at work ensuring that those who met the criteria have received their cozy throws. 

Housing and Property Services staff have already been out, delivering warmth and comfort. It is great to be able to say we are making a difference beyond bricks and mortar in helping folk stay warm during the winter. 

We are pleased to announce that in a second phase of deliveries, more heated throws will be making their way to doorsteps as January progresses.
